The Slava class cruisers (Project 1164) are large missile cruisers of the Soviet and Russian Navy, easy to recognize by the angled blocks of launchers for heavy anti-ship guided missiles on both sides of the superstructure. They carry an extensive anti-aircraft armament, guns and a shipboard helicopter, and they were conceived as the striking core of a task force.
Choose either the full hull or the waterline version. Glue the launchers and the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and make sure they are seated symmetrically. Paint the hull and the superstructures with an airbrush and bring out the deck and the details with a wash. Fit the antennas, the railings and the helicopter at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
