Vought F4U Corsair 1:350 from Trumpeter is a set of small carrier fighters for completing models of aircraft carriers and warships.
Responsibility details are not available.
The box holds six miniature injection-molded models of the Vought F4U Corsair carrier fighter in 1:350 scale. These are small accessory aircraft intended for populating the decks of aircraft carrier models in the same scale, not a stand-alone large model. Clear canopies are included, and with this subject a version with folded wings is a popular choice.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter with a characteristic inverted gull wing. It was used above all in the Pacific during the Second World War and later in the Korean War as well. It ranks among the best known piston fighters in American history thanks to its very long production run.
The parts are small, so separate them with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic in small amounts. The canopies and any folded wings call for care. Painting is easiest with an airbrush before final assembly; the blue naval finish of the US Navy was typical.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
