A printed rendering of the Vought OS2U-3 Kingfisher shipboard reconnaissance aircraft in 1:350 scale, that is in the scale of ship models. An accessory for a build.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 1:350 scale is at home with ship models, and an aircraft in it is a trifle the size of a fingernail. Even so, it is the aircraft that decides how a deck will look: the outline of an aircraft on the catapult is one of the first places the eye goes. This item offers a Vought OS2U-3 Kingfisher made by printing, which on parts this small tells on the fineness of the struts and on the shape of the floats.
The Kingfisher was an American shipboard reconnaissance aircraft with a large central float and a pair of auxiliary floats under the wing. It was launched from the catapults of battleships and cruisers, and its task was to search out targets, direct the fire of the ship's guns and look for downed crews on the water. A slow and inconspicuous machine, it therefore belongs on the deck of most American ships of the Second World War.
An accessory for a build is supplied. The ship model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The exact extent of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
