A publication from the Fast Guide series of the brand Komakai, devoted to the Toyota TS050 Hybrid endurance prototype of the Gazoo Racing team.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Toyota TS050 Hybrid is a closed endurance prototype that the Toyota Gazoo Racing works team ran in the world endurance championship, including the twenty-four-hour event at Le Mans. It combines a combustion engine with electric drive: the energy recovered under braking is stored and returned to the wheels under acceleration. The body is entirely subordinated to aerodynamics, so the car looks like one drawn-out shape with deep ducts, covered wheels and a massive rear wing.
The title belongs to the Fast Guide series, which the brand Komakai always devotes to a single car. With endurance prototypes such reference material is particularly useful: the color scheme, the numbers and the partners' lettering differed between individual races and between the cars of the same stable, and that cannot be settled from the picture on the box. The reference material also helps with the parts a kit simplifies, that is with the cooling ducts, the suspension and the cockpit area.
For builders of models of endurance cars, for anyone interested in hybrid racing machinery and for collectors of motorsport literature. This is a publication in its own right; neither a model nor a kit is included, unless stated otherwise.
