A green acrylic modeling paint from the Number 5 range. The shade takes its name from the racing machine designated Ninja ZX-RR.
Responsibility details are not available.
Green from the racing world tends to be markedly lighter and cooler than the green shades of military vehicles that are usually worked with on a modeling bench. This tone is listed in the Number 5 range and takes its name from the racing machine designated Ninja ZX-RR. You will use it on large smooth areas according to a color scheme as well as on smaller covers and accessories.
Sand the surface smooth, wash it and degrease it. Fingerprints show up on finished paint as patches, and under masking tape the paint will lift off a greasy surface. Stir the container thoroughly before use, or settled pigment will stay at the bottom and the shade will come out differently every time.
Light saturated greens cover worse than dark shades, so a uniform light primer belongs under them. On gray plastic or on patchy filler the paint would darken and the irregularities would show through. Apply several thin coats with a short pause between them; one heavy coat drowns fine detail and makes runs at the edges. Thin it with the thinner meant for this range of paints; the thinning ratio and the pressure in the airbrush are given by the manufacturer in the instructions on the packaging. Apply masking tape only onto a fully dried coat.
For modelers who build vehicles in racing finishes and want a ready shade instead of mixing. It is a paint on its own; thinner, clear varnish and spraying equipment are not supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
