0.7 mm Bullet-proof bolt is a set of imitation armor bolts in the 0.7 mm size. It replaces coarse or sanded-off detail on armor joints and seats into a drilled hole.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for a faithful rendering of the bolted joints on armor plate. The 0.7 mm size is one step bolder than the finest version in the range, so it suits everywhere the joint should be obvious at first glance. The part seats into a hole drilled with a pin vise, so it holds in the surface and does not have to be glued on flat like a flush rivet.
The 0.7 mm size corresponds to roughly 25 mm of real size in 1:35 scale, about 34 mm in 1:48 and some 50 mm in 1:72. For armor joints in the larger scales this is the usual choice; in the small scales it is a very conspicuous element instead. The range also offers the finer 0.5 mm size, the coarser 1, 1.2 and 1.5 mm steps and a version with a hex head.
Modelers of military vehicles will reach for it when they are restoring detail after sanding welds or adding joints on armor plate, as will builders who want to unify the look of the bolts across the whole model. The work is fine, but manageable with tweezers and a pin vise.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the pin vise are not included in the package.
