Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. C with additional armor 1:100 is a resin kit of the German light tank in a small scale for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit of the German Panzer II light tank in the Ausf. C version, completed with additional armor plates. The model is cast in the small 1:100 scale, which is popular with collectors of whole armored columns and wargaming groupings. The castings call for cleaning off the mold release agent and cutting off the casting blocks, so the set suits more advanced builders.
The Panzerkampfwagen II was among the most numerous German tanks at the beginning of the Second World War. The Ausf. C version was the main production variant of prewar manufacture, with five road wheels on leaf springs. The main armament was a two-centimeter rapid-fire cannon with a coaxial machine gun. On the basis of combat experience from the 1940 campaign, a number of vehicles received additional armor plates on the front of the hull and the turret, which raised their resistance to antitank fire.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before gluing, to remove any mold release agent. Glue the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. A primer and painting with an airbrush are recommended; a dark wash and dry pigments for dust and mud effects pick out the fine structure.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
