A resin kit of the German army car Volkswagen Typ 82 Kübelwagen in 1:100 scale. The tiny model suits dioramas, armored columns and also works as an addition to collector's groupings. The castings have to be cleaned of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, so the set is meant rather for more advanced modelers.
The Kübelwagen grew out of the design of the people's car, with an air-cooled four-cylinder engine mounted at the rear. A light, durable body, good cross-country ability and simple maintenance made it the most widespread light off-road car of the German army in the Second World War. It was used for liaison, reconnaissance and staff duties on all fronts.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before gluing, to get rid of the mold release agent. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. After a coat of primer, paint with an airbrush; a dark wash and fine pigments for dust effects will bring out the structure and the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
