A set of color 3D decals from the maker Quinta Studio for a faithful fit-out of the cockpit in 1:48 scale. The raised, fully colored details are printed on carrier decal paper and are applied as a wet decal. They take in the instrument panel, the side panels, the belts and other elements with no need for painting and as a quick alternative to photo-etch. The set is intended for the Hasegawa kit.
The Mitsubishi F-2A is a single-seat multirole fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, derived in design from the F-16 but with modifications of its own to the airframe and the avionics. It is marked by a modern, heavily digitized cockpit with large-area displays, which makes a color 3D decal a striking addition.
Cut the part out, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the carrier paper into place. It has no glue of its own, it holds on gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22), and in tubs and subdivided places a drop of super glue will help. Do not use a decal softener, it will damage the printed resin.
The set serves as an addition to a plastic kit, it is not a model on its own. The Hasegawa base kit, the glue, the varnish and the paints are not included in the package.
