This is NOT a kit but a detail accessory for the outer surface. It is a set of color 3D decals by Quinta Studio printed on a flexible film that represent the characteristic reinforcement plates on the fuselage of the aircraft. The elements are layered and raised, so on the surface of the model they create a real three-dimensional relief of overlapping plates. It is intended for models of the F-16 in the block 40/42 version in 1:48 scale. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Hasegawa kit.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American multirole fighter widespread in a number of air forces. The block 40/42 version brought equipment for precision strikes in any weather and further airframe developments. On the fuselage of the real machines additional reinforcement plates are visible, and this set imitates them.
Cut the elements out of the sheet, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto the designated place on the fuselage. Work on a smooth clean surface, seat the parts carefully and press them down gently so that they follow the shape of the airframe.
This is a standalone detail accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
