This set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals serves to detail an interior; it is not a kit. A flexible film with raised colored elements replaces the instrument panel, the side panels and further details of the cabin of the O-2A Skymaster in 1:48 scale. The maker is Kelik, and this is the smaller variant of the set, focused on the key interior elements. The set is intended for the ICM kit.
The Cessna O-2 Skymaster is a light twin-engine aircraft with an unconventional layout of its engines in tandem, one at the front and the other at the rear with a pusher propeller. In the US Air Force it served above all as a forward air control aircraft and on observation and liaison duties, among others during the Vietnam War.
The elements are carefully lifted out of the sheet and applied to the matching surfaces of the cabin. The film will conform to slightly curved surfaces; degrease the surfaces and press the decal down into the detail with a soft cotton swab. Whether a decal softener can be used on it should be checked in the manufacturer's instructions; with printed elements makers tend to be cautious about one. The interior thus gains colored detail with no painting.
This is an accessory for a model, not the kit itself. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
