1:32 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-4/R3 is a decal sheet from the AML brand for a large scale. It serves to mark a finished model of the German fighter; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the Czech maker AML for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-4 version with the R3 equipment, in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory with which a varnished model is marked. The decals are printed on a carrier sheet and after soaking in water they are transferred from the backing onto the surface of the model.
The G version, known among modelers by the nickname Gustav, was the most numerously built form of the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The G-4 sub-version followed on from the G-2 in 1943, received larger main landing gear wheels and different radio equipment. The letter R in the designation refers to the Rüstsatz, that is supplementary equipment fitted to the aircraft away from the main production line. Machines modified in this way also carried out tasks where a greater range and different equipment were needed than on the ordinary fighter version.
Prepare the base with a smooth gloss varnish, otherwise a light edge will appear under the clear film. Soak the decal only briefly and let it slide onto the damp surface, so that it can still be moved. In a large scale even small lettering comes out, so it is worth working with a magnifier and a soft brush. Across mottled camouflage and over scribed panel lines a softener will help; once it is dry, go over the whole model with a matte or satin varnish.
This is a standalone accessory. The model of the aircraft, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
