The set brings finely printed water-slide decals with markings for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10/R2 fighter in the large 1:32 scale. Digitally printed decals with sharp outlines and faithful colors make it possible to build particular historically documented machines. A large scale places higher demands on the quality of the printing and on the legibility of detail, which this set meets.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed the Gustav, was the most widespread version of this German fighter during the Second World War. The late G-10 variant was among the performance-tuned forms of the end of the war. Rüstsatz R2 designates a factory set of modifications for the particular purpose of the machine's deployment.
Varnish the base of the model with a gloss varnish, so that the decals do not settle with silvering. Soak the decal briefly, move it into place and press out the excess water. With a softener the decal follows the panel lines and the rivets. Once it is dry, go over it with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the look you want.
This is a standalone decal set. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
