A set of self-adhesive, exactly cut painting masks from the SX-Art brand in 1:48 scale, meant for the American bomber B-25J Mitchell in the version with the glazed nose. The masks make a sharp and clean finish on the densely framed glazing possible without lengthy taping up by hand.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine American medium bomber committed on all fronts in the Second World War. The late B-25J version was produced in two forms of nose; the Glazed Nose variant had a glazed nose with an observation and bombing station, whose many small frames place high demands on masking.
Stick the masks onto degreased and dry glazing, press them down carefully around the perimeter of the frames and spray thin coats of paint. The sharpest edges you will get with an airbrush. Once dry, take the masks off carefully, so as not to tear away the fresh finish.
