Responsibility details are not available.
Interior accessories for a plastic model of one of the most elegant German fighters of the war. The set gives the cabin instrument surfaces and fittings worked out in color that at this scale would call for very fine work by hand. The aircraft itself has to be bought separately. The dimensions of the elements match the cockpit tub of the Fine Molds kit.
The F-2 and F-4 forms differed mainly in the caliber of the cannon firing through the hollow propeller shaft: the first mark carried a weapon of smaller caliber with a high rate of fire, the later mark got a more effective weapon with an explosive shell. Both versions shared a reworked airframe with a markedly cleaner wing-to-fuselage transition and with the tailwheel retracted into the fuselage. Many pilots considered this family the most pleasant form of the whole type to handle, because the later marks were already heavier and less well balanced.
Access to the cabin is the key: fit everything while the fuselage halves are still apart. Choose the base color so that the surroundings of the elements do not look like a foreign body. A fine trace of a dark shade along the edges of the panels gives the space a depth that color alone will not create at a small scale. Before you close the glazing over, look at the cabin from the same angle a viewer at a display case will see it from.
