They are small detail parts that replace the coarser plastic elements from a kit and raise the credibility of the hull of British-type vehicles. The set tends to be available in both an open and a closed form of the hook.
Towing hooks and eyes were a necessary part of every military vehicle for recovery and towing. Finely worked resin parts make it possible to add realistic attachment points to the front and rear of the hull, and optionally stowed towing gear.
Wash off any mold release agent, separate the parts from the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Sand the small hooks gently and with respiratory protection. Once stuck on, work the parts into the overall weathering of the model with a wash and pigments.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. The vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
