Quinta Studio builds its interior sets on an unusual principle: the printing with relief is created directly on decal paper, so it transfers like a wet decal but a tangible texture stays on the part. The name gives the small version form, that is a narrower scope than the full interior set. The set is made for the Zvezda kit.

The Su-24M as the real subject

The Sukhoi Su-24 is a frontline bomber with a variable-geometry wing and a crew of two seated side by side. The M version represents an upgraded form with reworked equipment. The cockpit of this type is wide and clearly visible with the canopy open, so detail in it pays off.

Recommended procedure

• Apply the set to the cockpit parts before you close the fuselage.
• Go over the base with a gloss varnish so that the relief beds down without bubbles.
• Soak an element for a shorter time than an ordinary decal and transfer it over its whole area at once.
• Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as the chemicals will attack the printed resin.
• Before closing the fuselage, check dry that the parts still line up.

It is aimed at modelers who want a well worked cockpit without gluing small photo-etched parts and without patiently picking out instruments with a brush. Working with it is faster than with photo-etch, yet the result reads as fully modeled even from close up.
