The Irish Air Corps, national insignia 1954 to the present, 1:72 is a set of two sheets of wet decals with national insignia for models of aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two sheets of waterslide decals from the Czech maker Mark I contains the national insignia of the Irish Air Corps in 1:72 scale for the period from 1954 to the present. The insignia as well as the tricolor stripes are printed in several sizes, so you will choose the dimension matching the given type of aircraft.
The Irish Air Corps uses national insignia deriving from the national colors and Celtic symbolism. Tricolor stripes, including diagonal variants, tend to be part of the markings as well. The exact insignia of this postwar period are the key to a faithful model and are often missing from ordinary kits.
Apply the decals onto smooth gloss clear so that silvering does not occur. Once cut out, soak the marking, move it into place and draw the surplus water off. A softener will help it settle; finally unify the surface with matte or semi-gloss clear according to the character of the machine.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
