This sheet brings wet, that is waterslide, decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The set is aimed at the generic tactical markings and unit emblems of the German assault gun battalions (Sturmgeschütz-Abteilungen), so it will serve to sharpen a whole range of models of assault guns on the Panzer III chassis.
Sturmgeschütz assault guns were among the most widespread German tracked vehicles of the Second World War and served both for direct fire support of infantry and for anti-tank fighting. The sheet holds divisional and battalion emblems, tactical symbols and further markings with which a vehicle can be placed with a particular battalion.
Lay the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish, which will prevent a matte frame around the motif. Once dry, a decal softener and a decal setter will help the mark bed down even on rivets and edges. Finally coat everything with a matte varnish and blend it in with the patina of the vehicle.
This is a standalone sheet of decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
