An assembly model of the Ural-4322 truck, a version from the numerous family of three-axle vehicles of the Ural works. The manufacturer makes several members of this family, and the Ural-4322 is told apart among them by the shape of its cab. If you collect in 1:43 scale, they can be built into a clear row in which the differences between the individual forms are apparent at a glance.
Vehicles of the Ural works were among the main trucks for work away from made-up roads: all-wheel drive, high ground clearance and a simple, repairable design. The Ural-4322 came about as a form intended for service in the freezing northern regions, where long-distance routes were being built and raw materials extracted, and it differs from the ordinary members of the family in precisely the design of its cab. Vehicles of this class carried materials, fuel and crews to places where an ordinary road truck could not make headway.
Assemble the frame and the axles first and let them cure properly, and only then seat the cab and the bed. On these vehicles the cab has a pronounced edge between the front and the side, so it is worth bringing it out with a gently darker shade rather than a wash, which would bleed across a large surface. Paint the bed separately from the chassis. At the end add dust in two layers: a lighter one overall and a darker one only into the lower part of the fenders and behind the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
