New Ware 1:72 Savoia-Marchetti S.55 kabuki masks is a set of painting masks for the glazing, for spraying the frames precisely and sharply.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from New Ware cut from fine Japanese kabuki tape. The masks follow the shape of the glazing exactly and make it possible to spray the frames of the cockpits and the windows quickly and sharply. The set is intended for models of the Savoia-Marchetti S.55 flying boat.
The Savoia-Marchetti S.55 was an Italian twin-hull flying boat of the interwar period. It became famous for the mass long-distance flights across the Atlantic in the 1930s that made it a symbol of Italian aviation of the day. Its unusual layout with two hulls and tandem-mounted engines makes it a rewarding subject for collectors.
Kabuki tape shapes well and leaves no adhesive behind. Transfer the mask with tweezers, press it against the edge of the frame and apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. Degrease the surface before spraying and remove the mask while the finish is freshly dried.
It contains masks only; the model, paints and glue are not included.
