The training Avro Anson T Mk.22 (RAF) as a plastic kit in 1:72 from Valom.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Valom builds on the postwar form of the Anson reworked for the schooling of radio operators. The British T designation in the name betrays the training purpose, and it is precisely in this that the machine differs from the transport and liaison forms.
The requirement for the Mk.22 arose shortly after the war, the prototype lifted off at the close of the 1940s and the production machines then served as a mobile classroom of radio operation. Inside the fuselage there were stations for several pupils and an instructor, so that the cabin gives more the impression of an office than of a combat aircraft. Only a few dozen were built, which makes the type all the more interesting in a display case. In the training units the machines held on until the arrival of more modern equipment.
The model has extensive glazing, which will influence the final impression most: the frames call for sharp edges on the mask and the clear part should be kept protected until the last moment. Seat the engine nacelles against the wing dry, while the position can still be adjusted. Postwar British schemes tend to be contrasting, so apply an even undercoat beneath the light shades and only then deal with the shade itself.
The kit comes unassembled and without paint; the paints and the glue are not part of it.
