The continuation F-16C decals STINGERS OHIO ANG. VOL.2 (HAVE GLASS SCHEME) broadens the choice of markings for Ohio machines with a further part.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet of markings follows on from the first part released earlier. In the name stand the nickname of the unit, the abbreviation of the Ohio Air National Guard, the part number VOL.2 and a note about the gray scheme. A kit of the fighter is not included; this is an accessory for finishing an airframe already built.
Squadrons operate a number of machines over the years and their appearance changes; a commander's example looks different from an ordinary production aircraft. So that enough elements of usable size fit onto a single sheet, the range is divided into continuing parts. A collector can thus put together a whole row without buying one overcrowded sheet of which they would use only a fraction anyway.
Over elements the size of a grain of rice you cannot work the way you are used to on larger models. Fuselage numbers and national insignia tend to be printed as one whole, because dividing them at this size would not be possible. Count therefore on the position being set the moment they are offered up, with correction practically out of the question.
Above all to those who already have the first part and want to continue the series they have begun. It also makes sense on its own, if you build machines of the reserve formations and are after an appearance for them matching the later gray finish. Paints, varnish and the model of the aircraft are not supplied.
