A 1:48 double-sided glazing mask for the Bristol Bulldog Mk.II (Art Scale) for spraying the frames of the transparencies and other sharply bounded areas quickly and cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese kabuki tape meant for a model of the Bristol Bulldog Mk.II in 1:48 scale. The double-sided (TFace) version means that the tape is prepared for masking from the outside and from the inside of the glazing, so the shade of the interior frames can be separated from the exterior. The individual parts are numbered and come with placement instructions. The masks are cut for the Bulldog Mk.II kit from Airfix.
The Bristol Bulldog was a British fighter biplane of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. In its day it formed the backbone of the day fighter force of the Royal Air Force and became one of the iconic interwar machines. It was distinguished by its rugged metal structure and its open cockpit.
First degrease the glazing and the painted surfaces. Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it on according to the numbering and press the edges down with a stick for a sharp edge. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not creep under the tape. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has set.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
