1:48 single-sided glazing mask for the Curtiss P-40B Warhawk (Art Scale) for spraying the canopy frames quickly and cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Curtiss P-40B Warhawk in 1:48 scale. The single-sided form masks the outer framing of the glazed canopy. The parts are numbered and come with instructions for placement, so the masking goes quickly and accurately.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American fighter that became one of the symbols of the early Second World War. The early P-40B was among the first machines of the family to be used in numbers and became famous among other things for the shark mouths of the Flying Tigers in China. It was a rugged fighter with a V-12 engine and a characteristic tapered nose.
Degrease the glazing. Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it according to the numbering and press the edges down for a sharp edge. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not creep under the tape. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has flashed off.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
