1:48 single-sided glazing mask for the Gloster Meteor F.8 of the Korean War period (Art Scale) for a clean spray of the canopy frames.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Gloster Meteor F.8 in 1:48 scale, aimed at aircraft of the Korean War period. The single-sided form masks the outer framing of the glazed canopy. The parts are numbered and come with instructions for placement.
The Gloster Meteor was the first British jet fighter. The F.8 version formed the postwar backbone of the fighter force and in the Korean War it was flown among others by the Australian No. 77 Squadron. There the Meteors served above all for ground support, because against the MiG jet fighters they were already running out of performance. A new canopy with an ejection seat was characteristic.
Degrease the glazing. Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it according to the numbering and press the edges down for a sharp edge. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the tape. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has flashed off.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
