YPB-0125 Tungsten Steel Broach 0.125 mm is a scribing blade of the WING series with a very fine track, an intermediate step between the narrowest and the medium width.
Responsibility details are not available.
A blade for scribing panel lines made of tungsten steel, with a working width of 0.125 mm. In the WING series it stands between the finest and the medium size, which makes it a good choice when 0.1 mm is already too inconspicuous and 0.15 mm, on the contrary, unnecessarily prominent. The difference looks slight on paper, but on a finished surface you will see it.
The small difference in width shows mainly after spraying. While a very thin groove can almost close up under two coats, this track keeps its depth and when the detail is picked out the paint flows into it evenly. For models of aircraft types in the medium scales it is a fairly safe compromise between fineness and legibility.
It suits restoring gaps after filling, deepening lines only hinted at by the mold and adding panel division that is missing. The mirror-polished surface of the tool limits sideways sliding, so even a longer straight stroke holds its direction. With a shank of 3.175 mm diameter the tip clamps into a holder offered separately.
