A set of colored Eduard SPACE elements for a model of the A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The elements are released from moistened backing paper and fixed with PVA glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-10C Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat attack aircraft intended for close support of ground units. The C version went through an update in which the pilot was given new display panels and controls in the cockpit. For a modeler that means the cockpit of the A-10C looks different from that of the older machines, and it is exactly this difference that shows on a model.
The elements of the SPACE range are colored and carried on a paper backing. With a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, moisten only that backing paper; after a moment the element comes loose and you lift it off with tweezers. Settle it onto the kit part with PVA glue, that is, white glue; the manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate. The color print already carries the shades and the labels, so there is no laborious painting of tiny areas with a brush.
The set is for modelers who want a faithful cockpit without hours spent over tiny brushwork. Working with it is quick and forgives mistakes, because an element can still be moved for a while in PVA glue.
This is an accessory for a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
