This set from the Quickboost brand (a line from the manufacturer Aires) brings accurately cast resin propellers for plastic models of the OV-10 Bronco light observation and counter-insurgency aircraft in 1:48 scale. The accessory replaces the standard plastic parts and raises the fidelity of the power plants. Please note that this is a detail accessory, not a standalone aircraft kit.
The castings have sharper blade leading edges and a cleaner hub shape than injection-molded plastic can easily achieve. Once fitted, the engine nacelles of the Bronco look more realistic, which you will appreciate above all in close-up photographs of the finished model.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surface with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting we recommend a light primer for good adhesion.
The set contains resin parts only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
