This resin set from Aires replaces the cockpit of a model of the A-37 Dragonfly light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a refining accessory. The set brings a finely drawn instrument panel, side panels, seats and a cockpit tub, that is, elements that a plastic mold cannot capture with matching fineness.
The A-37 Dragonfly is an American light attack and counter-insurgency aircraft derived from the T-37 trainer. This two-seat jet proved itself in short-range strikes and in support of ground forces. It is marked by a simple design, good endurance and the ability to carry external stores.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. The cockpit is usually painted before it is glued into the fuselage, dried off with a wash and finished with a dry pastel to bring out the instruments. Use cyanoacrylate for gluing.
