The real subject

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American single-seat light attack aircraft intended above all for operation from aircraft carriers. The A-4F version was one of the later variants with modernized avionics, carried in the characteristic dorsal hump behind the cockpit. The Skyhawk was marked out by its simplicity, its reliability and a long career.
