This is not an aircraft model but a resin accessory for more experienced modelers. The set brings a detailed cockpit of the Swedish Gripen fighter — the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles and the fittings of the seat in a fine resin casting that markedly outdoes the standard plastic parts. The accessory is intended for SAAB JAS-39C Gripen models in 1:72 scale.
The cockpit replaces the basic interior from the box and gives a model a faithful pilot's station, especially if you are building with the canopy open.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with your airways protected. Lay down a primer before painting, then the base shades of the cockpit; bring out the instruments and panels with a wash and a dry brush.
This is a resin accessory, not a model in its own right. Paints, glue and the target model are not included in the package.
