Responsibility details are not available.
The A6M2b, that is the Zero Model 21, is an early production form of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M carrier fighter. It is powered by a Nakajima Sakae radial engine, and the machine excelled in agility and great range, paid for by low weight and poor protection for the pilot. The Model 21 can be told by its folding wingtips, which bent upward so that the aircraft would fit onto the deck elevator. It is precisely in broken-up places such as the cockpit, the instrument panel or the landing gear bays that thin photo-etched metal can capture shapes for which molded plastic is too coarse.
Photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for completing a model of the Zero Model 21. It is an accessory for a build, and you cannot build a model in its own right from it. The list of parts, their position and the kit the set is tuned to are given in the manufacturer's instructions; follow them also when deciding which plastic parts are removed before the photo-etched ones go on.
Separate a part with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not with scissors, which ripple thin metal. Make the bends in a bender or between two blades and keep to the engraved score lines, so that the edge comes out crisp and straight. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied in minute drops with the tip of a wire, because cement for plastic models does not hold on metal. Degrease the parts before painting and use a primer intended for metal, otherwise the paint will come off during handling.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
