A color, pre-printed and self-adhesive photo-etched set from the Zoom range by Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that raises the detail of the cockpit of a plastic kit of the Japanese A6M2b Zero type 21 fighter in 1:48 scale. The photorealistically printed parts are simply stuck in place.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier-based fighter of the Second World War, famous for its extraordinary agility and its long range. The A6M2b type 21 version with folding wingtips was operated from the decks of aircraft carriers and became a symbol of the early Japanese successes in the Pacific.
The self-adhesive instrument panels and side consoles are stuck straight onto the interior parts, and the small metal pieces can be secured with cyanoacrylate glue. The set suits bringing out the pilot area without lengthy painting.
This is an accessory and not a model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
