Eduard 1:48 A6M3 Zero Type 32 Weekend is a pre-colored photo-etched set of the Zoom line for the cockpit of the Japanese fighter. It is a detail add-on for a kit, not a model.

This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard belongs to the Zoom line. Zoom is the smaller sibling of a full photo-etched set: it concentrates on what is really visible on a finished model, that is above all on the cockpit interior, and its parts are printed in color in production. It is not an aircraft kit but an add-on for an A6M3 Zero Type 32 model in 1:48 scale, which you obtain separately.
What Weekend in the name means
The word Weekend refers to the simpler edition of the kit from the same manufacturer. That one is lightened precisely by the photo-etched parts, so this set is the logical add-on with which a model reaches the level of the better-equipped editions.
The real subject
The A6M3 Type 32, also known as the Model 32, was a development version of the Japanese A6M carrier fighter with a revised engine and shortened wing tips, which received square ends instead of the usual rounded ones. It is precisely the squared-off wing that is the most conspicuous identifying feature of this version.
Glue the instrument panel and the side consoles only after the cockpit has been painted, so that the print is not damaged by thinner. The plastic molding under the panel usually has to be sanded flat, otherwise the photo-etch will not seat. Separate the parts with a scalpel against a hard surface and glue them in spots with super glue applied in a minimal amount. At the end a light flat overcoat and fine dry brushing of the edges help, which brings out the depth.
The set is an add-on for an aircraft model. The model itself is not included in the package.
