A color set of the SPACE line for a model of the Japanese fighter A6M5 Zero in the Mitsubishi production rendition, 1:48 scale. The elements are lifted off the moistened backing paper with tweezers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A6M5 is the most numerously built version of the Japanese carrier fighter commonly called the Zero. It can be told from the earlier renditions by its shortened wings with rounded tips and by the separate exhaust stubs led along the sides of the fuselage behind the engine. The entry Mitsubishi in the name distinguishes the production rendition: the same type was built alongside by Nakajima as well, and the machines from the two plants differ in small details, so the accessories for them differ too.
Color three-dimensional elements of the SPACE line in 1:48 scale. The colors, the instruments and the small lettering are finished on the element, so writing out dials and labels with a brush falls away and the detail gains a depth you cannot draw out of bare plastic. The extent of the set and the position of the individual elements are given on the packaging and in the enclosed instructions, which also govern the order of work. The color elements are fitted into a space that is visible on a finished model, so it pays to give them time before the fuselage is closed up.
A set of color elements is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
