A set of wet (waterslide) decals with the complete technical lettering of the airframe of the Aero L-29 Delfin in 1:48 scale. It contains the small maintenance, service and warning notices, the markings of access panels and filler points and further service lettering that are found all over the surface of the real machine. Adding this detail raises the realism of a finished model considerably.
The Aero L-29 Delfin is a Czechoslovak jet trainer that became the standard training type of the air forces of the Warsaw Pact countries. Thanks to its simple and robust design it served in large numbers and became an icon of the domestic aviation industry.
The markings are applied as classic wet decals onto a smooth, ideally gloss varnish. The item is dipped briefly in lukewarm water and, once it comes loose from the paper, it is moved into place and settled. A decal softener and setting solution help it conform perfectly to the surface and the rivets; everything is covered with a clear varnish at the end.
This is an accessory decal set, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
