This item is not a kit but a decal set from the Czech maker Eduard, intended for aircraft models in 1:48 scale. Eduard names some of its decal sheets by theme, that is by the motif or subject of the sheet rather than by the type of aircraft. This set carries just such a name. Please check the particular markings on the packaging of the sheet.
Spray the area the decal is to go on and go over it with gloss varnish. On a matte surface air is trapped under the thin film and the edges silver, which is the most common mistake in decaling. Soak the decal in lukewarm water, wait until it releases from the backing paper, slide it into place and fine-tune the position with a moistened brush. Draw the excess water off with a paper tissue from the center to the edges.
On engraved lines, rivets and rounded surfaces a decal softener helps, making the decal supple and pulling it down into the surface. It is applied with a brush over a decal already laid down, and after that do not move it until it is dry, or the film will wrinkle. If one dose is not enough, repeat it weakly several times rather than once heavily. Once it is completely dry, go over the model with matte or semi-matte varnish, which evens the gloss base out and the edge of the decal disappears.
