A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for models of the Eurofighter Typhoon, the fourth part of the Apennine Eurofighters series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and canard foreplanes. The Apennine Eurofighters series, whose name refers to the Apennines and so to an Italian setting, devotes several parts to it, and this sheet is the fourth of them. Each part brings a different make-up of markings, so you can use them to choose the machine you want to build.
The printing is prepared for 1:48 scale and is applied to a finished, sprayed and varnished model. It saves you the hand painting of national insignia, numbers and legends, which are hard to mask at this scale. How many machines and which schemes the fourth part covers is given in the instructions issued with the sheet; use them to check how the motifs sit on a particular kit as well.
First go over the surface with a gloss varnish, because on a matte surface a silvered haze appears under the edges. Cut the motif out as closely as possible, soak it in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing, slide it onto the model. Blot the remaining water away with soft paper; at raised features and transitions a softener helps, and the motif is not moved afterward. Once dry, even the surface out with a varnish in the sheen you want. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The package holds a decal sheet. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
