A pre-colored 3D-printed interior set applied by the decal technique. It is not a kit but a detailed cockpit upgrade for models of the Su-17M4, or the export Su-22M4, in 1:48 scale. The parts are fully colored and need no painting.
The Sukhoi Su-17M4 was a Soviet single-seat fighter-bomber with a partly variable-geometry wing, that is with pivoting outer wing panels. The export version carried the designation Su-22. The aircraft served from the 1970s and its cockpit was full of analog instruments and controls.
3D printing gives the parts relief: recessed instrument dials, their bezels, switches, buttons, levers and warning lights. The dials are covered with a gloss varnish for a glazed effect. The part is released in lukewarm water like a decal, and because it is thicker than an ordinary decal it is fixed in place with glue or varnish as well. Leave the decal softener out, as it would attack the printed resin of the element. There is no need to assemble and paint multi-layer photo-etched sandwiches.
The set contains only the interior 3D decals. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
