Painting masks Ar 234B Blitz 1:48 (Eduard)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for building the Arado Ar 234B Blitz aircraft. The masks are applied to the cockpit glazing and to the wheels; after spraying they lift off easily and leave clean, sharp transitions with no paint bleeding under them.

The real subject

The Arado Ar 234 Blitz was a German aircraft of the Second World War and the first operationally deployed jet bomber and reconnaissance machine in the world. It was powered by a pair of turbojets and, thanks to its high speed, was hard for the defenses of the day to intercept. The B version was used both for bombing and for fast photographic reconnaissance.

Use

• Transfer the masks carefully onto clean, degreased glazing and press them down so that they adhere well.
• We recommend spraying the color of the inner framing first, then the final covering shade.
• Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush, so that it does not run under the edge of the mask.
• Once dry, peel the masks off carefully, ideally with the tip of a knife or with tweezers.
