A masking set for a model of the Czechoslovak Avia Av-135 fighter in 1:48 scale, drawn for the Planet Models kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Avia Av-135 is one of the Czechoslovak fighters of the late 1930s. It was a cantilever low-wing monoplane with retractable landing gear, which grew out of the development of an older design from the same brand and was built in series only in small numbers. In the modeling range it is a marginal subject, so accessories for it appear rather rarely.
Masks for a model in 1:48 scale, according to the name drawn for the Planet Models kit. With short-run kits that is an important detail: the dimensions of the parts differ between makers more than on large injection-molded kits, so a sheet made for a different kit might not fit. What exactly is on the sheet is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For the modeler who has taken on a less usual subject and does not want to hold up the build by cutting masks from tape. On a short-run kit the glazing tends to be small and the frames indistinct, so a ready-made mask also saves a good deal of frustration.
Masks are supplied. The kit, paints, decals and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
