This is NOT an airplane model but a set of photo-etched metal parts from Eduard meant to upgrade its plastic Avia S-199 kit in 1:48 scale. The set adds fine details that cannot be produced in plastic - above all in the cockpit and on the outer surface of the model.
The Avia S-199 was the post-war Czechoslovak version of the Bf 109 fighter with a different powerplant. It became famous for its service with the Israeli Air Force during the war of 1948, where it carried the nickname Sakeen.
The photo-etched parts are cut off the fret, bent along the marked lines and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a special glue for photo-etched parts. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
An accessory set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
