This is a detail (upgrade) accessory for the cockpit, not a complete aircraft model. The Eduard SPACE set in 1:48 scale combines color 3D printed decals with color photo-etched parts. It brings a faithfully rendered instrument panel and further details of the cockpit panel together with color photo-etched seat belts for the Avro Anson Mk.I. The set serves to refine and sharpen the interior of the pilot's compartment; on its own it is not a kit and it requires a separate basic Avro Anson Mk.I kit in 1:48 scale.
The Avro Anson Mk.I was a British twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War period. It was originally created as a coastal reconnaissance machine, but its main role became training, above all the schooling of pilots, navigators and radio operators. Thanks to its reliability and easy handling it served with the Royal Air Force and friendly air forces for many years.
The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers. Glue the color photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate, because ordinary plastic cement does not hold on photo-etched metal. Apply the 3D decals onto a clean, smooth and preferably gloss surface so that they settle without silvering; moisten only the backing paper, lift the part off with tweezers and fix it with white PVA glue. The manufacturer rules out a decal softener on the SPACE range, because it attacks the printed resin. Remove the original plastic details of the basic kit as needed so that the new parts seat correctly.
This is an accessory (an aftermarket set), not a complete model. A separate basic Avro Anson Mk.I kit in 1:48 scale is needed to build it, and that kit is not included in the package.
