The engine detail set Eduard B-17G engines 1:48 for the American Flying Fortress bomber. An accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set from Eduard in 1:48 scale for refining the radial engines of the B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber. It is neither a model nor a kit but an accessory for a more faithful rendering of the engines and their surroundings, above all the fine plumbing and details that plastic parts usually lack. The exact contents and material follow the instructions in the package.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by four air-cooled radial engines, which are among the prominent features of the machine's overall appearance. Faithfully rendered engines show to best advantage on a model with the engine nacelles open.
The parts are cut from the fret, assembled where necessary into three-dimensional units and bonded with super glue. The engines are usually finished with metallic paints and dark washes to bring out the cylinders and the plumbing. We recommend a dry test fit with the engine nacelles before the final gluing.
This is a detailing accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
