B-17G Flying Fortress machine gun barrels (1:48, Quickboost) is a resin set of finely cast barrels for the defensive machine guns of a Boeing B-17G bomber model. It is a detail accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of precisely cast barrels for the defensive machine guns of a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress bomber model in 1:48 scale. The thin, straight resin barrels replace the less faithful plastic parts from the base kit and raise the realism of the defensive armament. This is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Boeing B-17G was an American heavy bomber of the Second World War. Its defensive armament consisted of 12.7 mm machine guns (Browning M2) distributed in the chin turret in the nose, the dorsal and ventral turrets, the waist positions and the tail. It was precisely this dense defensive fire that gave the aircraft the name Flying Fortress.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The thin barrels are fragile, so handle them with care. Once painted in a metallic shade they look very realistic.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
