A detail set from the LööKplus line made to improve the cockpit of the four-engine Consolidated B-24D Liberator bomber in 1:48 scale. It combines resin parts with a pre-finished instrument panel and color photo-etched parts. This is not an airplane kit but an accessory that replaces and supplements the cockpit parts of the base model. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
First cut the resin parts from the casting blocks and wash off the mold release residue. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The photo-etched belts can be shaped for a realistic sag. The set replaces the production cockpit parts, so expect to fine-tune the fit to the particular kit.
The set is supplied unpainted; the paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
