Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide (wet) decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker DK Decals. It is neither a kit nor a model but an add-on sheet of markings intended for plastic models of the twin-engined B-25C/D Mitchell bomber. The decals offer several variants of finish for machines operating in the southwest Pacific, in the area of New Guinea and Australia in 1942.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber, one of the most widespread Allied types of the Second World War. The B-25C and B-25D versions differed from each other mainly in where they were built and were widely used in the Pacific, where they proved themselves in attacks at low and medium altitude. The markings in this set are tied to units operating over New Guinea, where Mitchell crews carried out bombing and ground-attack tasks against Japanese targets.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, glossy and degreased finish, ideally over a layer of clear gloss varnish. Cut the part out, dip it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing paper, slide it onto the model. Fine-tune the position, press the excess water out gently and use a decal softener for perfect adhesion into the detail. Once dry, go over it with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is an add-on sheet of decals. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
