Eduard 1:48 B-29 Superfortress painting masks are precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks for easy painting of the extensive glazing of a model of the American B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks is intended for a plastic model of the American Boeing B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber in 1:48 scale. The masks in thin kabuki film follow the subdivided frames of the extensive greenhouse nose and the other glazed areas exactly, so that you paint even this demanding glazing quickly and with crisp edges. This is an accessory for painting, not the model itself.
The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was an American four-engined heavy strategic bomber of the Second World War. It stood out for its pressurized cabin, its long range and its richly glazed nose. It was deployed above all in the Pacific and ranked among the technically most advanced bombers of its day. It was an exceptionally large machine, and building it in 1:48 is demanding in terms of the glazing too.
Move the masks onto clean glazing with tweezers and press them carefully against the frames. On the extensive greenhouse nose, go patiently panel by panel. Spray the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and take the masks off carefully once dry.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
