Bell P-39 Airacobra exhaust stacks, fishtail, PRINT 1:48 is a set of 3D-printed resin exhaust stacks from Eduard in the flat-ended variant.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on resin set, not an aircraft model. It contains the exhaust stacks of the Airacobra produced by direct 3D printing, in the flat fishtail-ended variant. The hollow, crisply rendered ends of the stacks replace the simpler plastic parts and raise the realism of the fuselage sides considerably. The set is intended for models of the Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:48 scale. NOTE: a rounded-end variant also exists, so choose according to the particular sub-version of the real machine.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter with its engine unconventionally placed in the middle of the fuselage and a cannon firing through the propeller hub. The various batches also differed in the shape of the exhaust stacks, which is why both a flat and a rounded version are offered.
Separate the parts from the print supports and wash them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The exhausts stand out once they are painted in burnt metal and rust shades and picked out with pigments. Sand the resin with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
